Final Hours of the Campaign!

Hey everyone!

The campaign is drawing to a close in just a few short hours, so review all the wood options and add-ons and make any last minute additions now.

We're busy ramping up preliminary production of your rewards, and putting the finishing touches on BackerKit, our pledge manager. We're working with BackerKit to get it ready to launch very soon after the campaign.

Once the survey arrives in your inbox, you can follow the link to fill it out. Please do so as soon as possible. We rely on the data you provide in the survey to guide our production, so getting your rewards in time depends on you filling it out in a timely fashion. Of course, we have some estimates of what we'll need to produce, and that's what you see here - but we'll need you to let us know the specifics so we can have everything ready on time. We thank you for your assistance in this!

Don't worry - we'll send out an update when BackerKit is ready, so you'll be sure to know to look for it.

As you lock in your decisions and finalize your pledges, consider if you have any friends on the fence - let them know now is the time! As this chapter of the campaign closes, we're moving full speed to the next.

Final 48 Hours!

As we head into the final two days of the campaign, we hope you'll all keep spreading the word, sharing and pledging - the final days of a campaign are crucial, and we expect an influx of new backers, so don't give up on those last stretch goals - it's far from over and there's still time to unlock the final round of woods and leather profiling for everyone!

Tak: A Beautiful Game

We have been consistently overwhelmed by the love the community has shown us during our campaigns, and we want to take a moment and shine a spotlight on a campaign that we think also deserves your love. Tak: A Beautiful Game has done an amazing job making the board game first described in The Wise Man's Fear a reality. A pure abstract game with simple rules and deep strategy, Tak has the classic feel of games like Chess, Go and Mancala. The only thing that we could imagine to make it better would be an heirloom quality Tak set crafted by artisans. But what are the odds of something like that happening?

Right, moving on. In the meantime, here's some information on what will happen when the campaign does draw to a close.

BackerKit

When the campaign closes, we'll be sending an invitation to BackerKit. When you get there, you'll confirm your address, answer a few simple questions, and place your order!

Your pledge will be converted into credit on the BackerKit site, and you'll go to the "add-on" menu to select your Sentinels, dice, playmats and add as many engravings, deck dividers and command windows as you'd like.

You can also add to your pledge once you arrive at BackerKit, if you should decide to add on a deck box or playmats as gifts, or you decide you just have to have another - BackerKit can collect payment information so you can take care of any balance above your Kickstarter pledge.

Engravings will be purchased aside from Deck Boxes, so you'll need to tell us which box you'd like each engraving placed on, if you're ordering multiple. This will be a simple process, though, with prompts at every step.

Due to the time-sensitive nature of the campaign and our tight fulfillment schedule, BackerKit will only be open for 7 days for our earliest bird backers. It's vital that you respond quickly so we can get your pledge to you on time! Late responses to the survey are likely to delay your order. We're counting on your help to make fulfillment run smoothly, but the good news is that after you submit your pledge, all you need to do is wait for your Sentinel to arrive!

We'll send out another update after the campaign, as soon as BackerKit is available, so you'll know to look for it.

400 Backers! Wood Unlocks Inside!

Four hundred of you have pledged to take the Sentinel from our bench to your homes and beyond. That means it's time to offer more wood options! Here are the newest options available to all of our backers.

There's still more to unlock - the next happen at 500 backers and 1000% funding. We can reach them, but we need your help - keep sharing, posting and pledging! Thank you all for getting us this far! We truly appreciate your support.

Wood Selections

After the Campaign

With less than 10 days left, it's time to think about the end of the campaign. We will once again be using BackerKit to make collecting all of your information and pledge details easy.

When the campaign wraps up, we will send out a BackerKit survey to collect all the important information we need to process your pledge and ship your rewards.

We will announce that the survey has been sent in an update, so you'll know to look for it. As for the survey process, it's rather simple - you don't need to create an account, simply follow the link within your invitation email to your personal survey. Of course, it's very important that you fill out the survey quickly so we can produce your rewards! The survey link will be sent to whatever email you use for Kickstarter.

One important note: there is an "add-ons" section in BackerKit where you will assign your pledge credit. All of the rewards and add-ons available in the campaign will be listed there, so you'll simply choose what you pledged for. You can even add to your pledge if you like!

More information will be forthcoming as we near the end of the campaign.

And Now For Something Completely Different

We at Wyrmwood don't get into politics, but this Kickstarter campaign was a fun one to see, and even though their funding period is over, they wanted to give our backers a chance to pre-order. What is it, you ask? None other than a Bernie Sanders action figure. Yes, you read that right. If you're into unusual collectibles, this might hit the spot:

500% Funding! Command Window UNLOCKED!

This is a big milestone - the campaign has hit 500% funding! And that means everyone now has access to the Command Window feature!

A Commanding Presence

Creating a command window is a careful process. We take a completed deck box and excise a square from the front, at a precise location. This allows the front of the box to act as a frame for the artwork of your favorite card.

Of course, we don't want to expose your card to the elements more than necessary, so with every Command Window purchase we include a thin, clear acrylic divider you can place in front of your deck.

We got some questions concerning the size of these add-ons, and have added their dimensions to the FAQ section. We're including them here, as well:

If you'd like to add a Command Window, Leather Playmat, Deck Divider or any other optional feature or add-on to your Sentinel pledge, simply increase your pledge by the correct amount for each instance of the add-on you'd like ($25 per box with a Command Window, $50 per playmat). You'll have an opportunity in the survey following the campaign to denote exactly which box(es) and add-ons you'd like and what features each should have. As always, the easiest method is to use our pledge calculator to get your total.
